Multiple clubs want Levi Colwill on a permanent deal

Following Levi Colwill’s impressive loan spell at Huddersfield last season he has unsurprisingly caught the eye of many Premier League clubs.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have yet to make a final decision on Colwill’s future and claims Leicester City, Crystal Palace, Brighton and Nottingham Forest have ‘asked’ for information on the English defender, as they and multiple clubs look to sign him on a permanent deal.

Romano them mentions the Blues will sign two centre-backs this summer after losing Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger to free transfers.

I definitely think it is important Colwill plays regularly next season for his development.

Colwill, who has such a high potential needs to be expressing his ability on a regular basis and if he isn’t guaranteed that at Chelsea, maybe a Premier League move might be best for him.

But for Chelsea, they must not sell him, he is definitely one for the future and I feel the west London side would live to regret if they sold him permanently.
