Milan interest in Asensio could scupper Chelsea’s Ziyech sale

AC Milan are being heavily linked with Marco Asensio in recent days, with the Gazzetta dello Sport front page today claiming that the attacker could be the pefect “gift” for sporting director Paolo Maldini on his birthday.

As Football Italia have pointed out today, that could be a disaster for Chelsea, who are looking to offload Hakim Ziyech to the Italian team.

If they sign the Madrid man, a move for Ziyech seems very unlikely, and the bad news for Chelsea is that as far as we can see, a deal for Asensio looks likely.

Real want €40m, while AC Milan only wan to pay €30m. That’s a big difference, but not an insurmountable one. Milan are flush after winning the Scudetto this season, and Asensio is probably more of a statement signing than Ziyech.

Let’s hope that things fall apart – we could really do with shifting one of our wingers this summer to help us refresh the squad.

  1. Espero que si se llega a ir Ziyech, venga alguien como Raphinha vertiginoso y mas peligroso

  2. Don’t worry if ziyech doesn’t go, he is our first best prayer and just let him stay and give him enough time to play, last season it’s bcoz of injuries, Chelsea is club so if was me I would have let him extend his contract bcoz last year and this is a different one, and if a team is full of stars it goes nowhere but if it is balanced we can win the ucl and the epl,so the couch shouldn’t be in a hurry just to destroy the all team, let him proof of his couching styles in this preseason training rather than bring prayers who will fell to deliver, we stopped long ago of praying big names
