One member of the loan army we haven’t heard a lot about so far this summer is Michy Batshuayi, who needs another home on loan – if he can’t find another loan move.
CaughtOffside report that Brighton have an interest in the striker, although from their story it’s not clear whether it’s for a loan move or a permanent transfer.
Given how long Chelsea have had him on the books, we’d imagine a permanent move would be preferable for all parties.
His previous spells in the Premier League with Crystal Palace weren’t the most successful – he scored 7 goals in 29 games.
His time with Besiktas this season was much more fruitful – he got 14 in 33 in the league – so it’s no wonder that Premier League teams want to give him another chance.
At Brighton, a team which creates plenty of chances, he might just be ready to finally reach his potential in the league.
