Thomas Tuchel’s two priority transfer targets for centre-back this summer has been revealed by Fabrizio Romano.
We know that this is a hugely pressing area of concern for Tuchel and Chelsea this summer, with two centre-backs having already left the club, and more defenders could follow.

We have seen Chelsea linked with a whole host of different centre-back names recently, but transfer expert Romano has narrowed it down to Tuchel’s two preferences.
One is form Blue Nathan Ake from Manchester City, who could arrive as part of the Raheem Sterling deal. And the other one is Juventus leader Matthijs De Ligt.
Juventus’ CEO has even admitted over night that he says it will be impossible to keep De Ligt if he wants to leave, amidst Chelsea’s pursuit.

I’m sure there will still be more twists and turns yet, but Blues owner Todd Boehly genuinely seems to be backing Tuchel and getting him the targets that he wants.
