Chelsea’s ‘top priority’ attacking target confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, who also gives defender updates

Things are really starting to happen at Chelsea now as the new owners firmly get their feet under the table.

Todd Boehly and co have been super busy sorting out an endless list of tasks since arriving under four weeks ago, and it looks like now they have reached the point on the list of making offers for new signings to improve the squad.

Thomas Tuchel is said to be given the reigns to get the targets that he wants to see arrive at the club this summer for his squad rebuild, and the offers are starting to go in.

Fabrizio Romano has the latest updates on attacker and defender targets in his tweets over night.

Firstly, he confirms that it is Raheem Sterling who is the priority attacking target for Chelsea this summer, whilst they have also made calls regarding Raphinha.

And at the back, he confirms Chelsea’s intentions to try and sign Matthijs De Ligt from Juventus, but also says that Jules Kounde and Nathan Ake are firm targets.
