Chelsea linked with long-term Manchester United target

Ajax winger Antony has been one of the most regular names to appear in the gossip columns this summer, but it’s mainly been in connection with Manchester United.

The arrival of Erik Ten Hag as Red Devils boss from Ajax has lead to some pretty obvious lines being drawn between the two, but today we’ve finally seen some hints that Chelsea are interested too.

It makes sense – we’re likely to be looking for an attacking winger if we can shift one of the disappointments currently on our books, and Anthony looks like one of the most dangerous players on the market this summer.

It may well be that United’s contact is far enough down the line that we can’t catch them – but we might well be able to at least jack the price up for our rivals.

First though – we’ve got to work on who wants to buy Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner and the last round of flops we bought.
