Christian Pulisic scored the second goal for Chelsea tonight, but when he was asked about what he had enjoyed in his team’s performance, he actually picked out their defending.
He pointed out that Chelsea had pressed really strongly and that had “deflated” Leeds, who were down a man and a goal and really never looked in this game.
Let’s hope they can replicate that this weekend against Liverpool, who will put up a tougher test than Leeds did if Chelsea try to force mistakes out of them.
