Thomas Tuchel has just been interviewed after Chelsea’s defeat to Liverpool on penalties in the FA Cup final, but the Blues boss wasn’t downcast.
The questioner pointed out that Liverpool hadn’t been able to beat Chelsea in normal time in either of the finals they’ve played each other in this season, and Tuchel instantly shot back that it had actually been four games in total.
“They couldn’t beat us” he noted, pointing out how close his team had been across all those matches.
