Simon Jordan was on TalkSport today being asked about Chelsea’s takeover and whether it would be hurting the club’s transfer prospects this summer.
He talks a lot of nonsense – that’s his job after all – but he also knows what running a club involves, and he insisted that this wouldn’t be as damaging as some have said.
He pointed out that while the club can’t sign off on anything until they have a new owner, the necessary discussions and verbal agreements can still be made until then.
“Who stops those?” he asked.
