It’s too late to call Sam Kerr a rising star – she broke out long ago and is now stacking trophies one after the other.
But there’s also no denying she seems to get better and better, and performances in the crunch part of the season have been crucial to the success of Emma Hayes’ team, who completed a Double today by beating Manchester City at Wembley in the FA Cup final.
