The attack might not be considered as high priority for Chelsea to add personnel in this summer under the current circumstances, but it is reportedly an area that Thomas Tuchel wants to sign in.
The new owners are arriving at the club and Tuchel is largely expected to be fully backed in the summer market to improve his squad.
Chelsea make enquiry to sign Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni.
There will be a number of defenders leaving the club, so you’d imagine that will remain the priority. However, Tuchel has his eyes on a new attacker.
According to Sky Germany (as tweeted below), Thomas Tuchel is highly interested in signing Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig. The player has got an offer from Leipzig to extend. They don’t want to sell him in summer. There is no release clause.
Update #Nkunku: Not only Gvardiol, Tuchel is also highly interested in Nkunku! But: The player has got an offer from Leipzig to extend. They don’t want to sell him in summer. Right now no release clause. #MUFC is also interested, especially Rangnick. @SkySports @Sky_Marc #CFC 🇫🇷

The forward has bagged a super impressive 34 goals already this season in the Bundesliga.
I do find it odd though, Nkunku chose to leave PSG when Tuchel was in charge there….
