The three signings who could join Kounde in Chelsea’s summer spree

Chelsea are set to lose two first team centre backs this summer, and could yet lose a third.

To compound that, one of the options that will remain is 37 years old.

That means at least two players coming in, and while we know one of them will likely be Jules Kounde of Sevilla, that can’t be the end of it.

Nizaar Kinsella’s piece on Goal.com today points out that the deal for Kounde will be done as soon as the sanctions are lifted, with both the Blues and Sevilla keen to get the deal done ASAP.

Presnel Kimpembe, Leipzig’s Josko Gvardiol, and Atletico’s Jose Gimenez are all said to have been looked at by the club, and all look like pretty realistic options for this summer.
