Pending new Chelsea owner meets with players ‘one-on-one’

The new Chelsea owners will finally be granted the full keys to Stamford Bridge very soon as all the final pieces of the puzzle fall into place.

It’s a matter of time now before the takeover is officially confirmed as we await the Government passing the sale. But any late snags are not expected now and Todd Boehly, who is fronting the consortium buying Chelsea, has even been busy meeting with Chelsea staff.

Chelsea are interested in signing Real Madrid midfielder, Casemiro this summer.

Last week he took time to head to Chelsea’s training facility in Cobham and he met head coaches of the Men’s and Women’s teams, Thomas Tuchel and Emma Hayes.

But whilst he was there, according to Simon Johnson of The Athletic as seen below, Boehly also met with many of the players, some of them even one-on-one.

He spoke to some players in a group as well, and it wasn’t organised it was just how he bumped into the players and staff.

Really nice touch.
