Juventus midfielder on Chelsea’s radar as Blues look to summer revamp

A new name is on the Chelsea radar with summer approaching.

SportWitness is full of reports translated from the Italian papers today that the Blues want to sign Adrien Rabiot from Juventus.

The midfielder moved there on a free transfer and signed up to a deal worth €7m a year, but has fallen out of favour at times and has never fulfilled the potential that has been so hyped since his teenage years at Paris St Germain.

Apparently Chelsea are interested, and Juve are more than happy to let the France international go as they look to build up funds to reshape their squad.

A price of €15m to €20m is mentioned, which would be a bargain deal for a player who still has plenty to offer.

But given how pressing our needs are in other positions, it remains to be seen whether Thomas Tuchel views Rabiot as a priority.

  1. No veo necesario a Rabiot, y para estar agregando descartes de otros equipos mediocres mejor nos quedamos con Jorginho… sin mencionar que tendremos a Gallaguer en esa zona inyectando sangre joven.
