Journalist believes Chelsea ‘would sell’ striker this summer after only two seasons in London

Chelsea have a number of players with question marks hanging over their heads regarding their futures right now.

It seems like there will be a big summer ahead at the football club, with many players potentially looking to leave in the summer.

A surgical summer is needed at Chelsea FC!

With some players having their contracts running out this summer or going into their final contracts, and others just seemingly looking for a new challenge or unhappy with their game time, there is going to be a lot to sort out for Chelsea’s new owners in the next few months.

Timo Werner is one of those players with a question mark over his head despite only being at the club for just two seasons. It’s not always been what you can class as a dream move for him, and some believe he could go this summer as well.

The Daily Star’s Paul Brown believes Chelsea could sell him, as reported by Give Me Sport.

Brown said:

“If a team were to come in with a really good offer for Timo Werner, I think Chelsea would sell this summer, but I don’t think there is a team out there who will come in with a big offer, because he hasn’t really done it this season to justify it, so I think for the time being he will stay.”
