Christian Pulisic has been taken off by Thomas Tuchel with tonight’s game against Leicester very much in the balance.
The Blues went a goal behind but have battled back to 1-1, and the best chance to go ahead fell to the USA international.
He fluffed it, and as he was taken off he looked broken. The ball was flashed across the goal to him, and all he had to do was roll it in. But often those chances are the hardest it seems, and he certainly didn’t connect as he would have wanted to.
It’s a classic of the Pulisic genre – every time he works his way into the team and produces, he ends up fluffing his lines not long later and looking the worse for it. What happens to him this summer?
