Tonight’s game between Chelsea and Leicester at Stamford Bridge ended up as a 1-1 draw, continuing the Blues’ poor home form.
They could have won it, but in the end they couldn’t put away their chances – as has been the story all too many times this season.
With one home game to go of 19, Thomas Tuchel’s team have just 8 wins in total now.
That’s the worst record of anyone in the top 7. If they had played as well at home as they have away, they’d have been in the title race right until the end.
Eight PL home wins for Chelsea this season with one game to go at Stamford Bridge. That's the worst home record of the entire top seven…#cfc https://t.co/ZNdon81YYY

It’s a major issue, but tonight sums it up nicely. It’s not that we play badly at home, we just can’t score at home. Tuchel sets up his team well, they create chances and defend, but when it comes to putting the ball in the net they let themselves down.
It’s massively frustrating – but there’s also the sense that we’re just that one missing piece away from being a top side again.
