Thomas Tuchel is without some key players, and there’s not that much to play for, leading to an interesting selection – although it’s not the line up of youngsters some would have wanted.
Andreas Christensen misses out after his mystery illness continues, so it’s a back 3 of Silva, Rudiger and Chalobah. Alonso and James play out wide, with Ziyech and Pulisic flanking Romelu Lukaku up top.
N’Golo Kante is fit to play alongside Jorginho in the middle, meaning no room for Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
There aren’t even any kids on the bench either. Which is a little disappointing. We could have done with some Lewis Hall action at the very least to keep us engaged and thinking about next season.
