Chelsea get huge boost for FA Cup final line-up – but Tuchel may not risk it

Good news is flooding in for this Saturday’s FA Cup final against Liverpool.

We’ve just heard that Fabinho will miss out for Liverpool, and that’s been compounded (in a good way, for once) by news that Mateo Kovacic may be back for Chelsea.

The Croatian was substituted in the first half against Leeds last night after taking a crunching tackle that turned his ankle and lead to a red card for Dan James.

Thomas Tuchel was gloomy after the game, and all but ruled Kova out for Saturday’s late afternoon clash against the Reds, but today the BBC’s Tom Roddy has reported that the issue is not as bad as was feared in the immediate aftermath of the game last night.

Whether Thomas Tuchel will be willing to risk putting a half fit player in to the mix against perhaps the world’s most physically dominant team is another question however.
