Armando Broja attracts interest from top European side

Armando Broja’s season at Southampton on loan from Chelsea was a real success.

The striker stepped up to a top league and showed he had the level required, even if he did tail off (along with his teammates) towards the end of the season.

He did well enough to attract interest from teams a level above, and today Inside Futbol report that Napoli are now keen to be his next destination.

Their sporting director has apparent been in contact with Armando Broja’s agent for “months” now, and it seems that the Serie A side are keen to make him a permanent signing.

We can’t see Chelsea authorising that, especially given their own issues with strikers, but a loan deal (perhaps with a very high option to buy included) might be feasible.

The now 20 year old is going to attract a lot of interest, and we’re sure Chelsea will only accept offers which are very much on their own terms.
