Andreas Christensen made destructive FA Cup final request

Reports are emerging tonight that Andreas Christensen asked to be taken out of the Chelsea line up just hours before the FA Cup final against Liverpool on Sunday.

Matt Law, who is well connected at Chelsea, reported last night that the Danish defender was in line to play the game, but informed his manager Thomas Tuchel at the last minute that he didn’t want to be included.

This was reportedly because he felt unwell, and had been shocked to see himself in the starting team.

That explains the rather surprising inclusion of Trevoh Chalobah, who must have been thrust into the action with little warning.

Christensen was on a fine line with Chelsea fans already after agreeing a free transfer to go elsewhere this summer, and this is likely to be the final straw for his final defenders.

What a great legacy he could have had – and what a feeble one it will end up being.

  1. Siempre fue un blandito suavecito sin carácter, Chalovah es mil veces mejor que este paquete inútil ojalá que a Tuchel le quede claro y deje de improvisar, es hora de proyectar a nuestro talento Chalovah
