Thomas Tuchel was understandably frustrated at full time after Chelsea’s game against Brentford today, and he gave a pretty comprehensive answer to Sky Sports explaining what had happened to his team.
“We looked mentally tired, physically tired after being all round the world” he noted, but it wasn’t a convincing excuse, even to him, and really his focus was on the complacency his group had showed in thinking the game was over once they had scored.
Onwards and upwards – we’ve got a great chance to bounce back against… Real Madrid this week.
