Jorginho targeted for reset of Juventus after bad year

TuttoSport in Italy has a front page today which screams about a new spine for Juventus, to “re-found” the club.

One of those players is Chelsea midfielder Jorginho, who is endlessly linked with moves back to Serie A, whether he’s playing well or badly for Chelsea.

As we enter the final two years of his contract, a move starts to feel more likely however, and we’re willing to take these rumours more seriously. A disappointing end to the season might mean Thomas Tuchel is keen to have a reset of his own in midfield, and the departure of the always divisive Jorginho would create space on the books for a fresh injection of quality into the team.

This summer could see Chelsea and Juve both made big moves as they look to get back on track after their respective disappointing seasons. A move for Jorginho could help both those processes.
