The final four were whittled down by Roman Abramovich through Raine Group, who are handling the sale. Now today once all final offers and plans are put on the table, a decision will soon be made on who gets the keys to Stamford Bridge and Chelsea Football Club.
Many have their preferred options, and some are seen as more likely to get it than others. But it seems like it is still a fairly open race with even the underdogs building up impressive consortiums.
However, the frontrunners are this point according to The BBC are the group led by Todd Boehly, who have long been considered the favourites by many sources. They are ahead of The Ricketts Group, Martin Broughton’s consortium, and Stephen Pagliuca’s consortium.
