This Chelsea team is a team of winners, and we were not surprised when Edouard Mendy left for the Africa Cup of Nations back in January – and came back with another medal.
It was a hectic tournament played in the swirl of Covid, but that was nothing compared to the scenes when Senegal returned home with the trophy to celebrate.
In a great interview with Chelsea, the goalkeeper explained the madness of winning the title and the celebrations on home soil.
