AS: Thomas Tuchel requests Real Madrid centre back to replace potential free agents

We have sped into February already this year and that means that although we still have a huge part of the season to play, clubs will be looking towards their summer transfer business already.

Chelsea can certainly be put in that category, even more so because they could end up losing three centre backs as free agents come the end of June.

Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger, and Andreas Christensen could all still leave on a free, and we are no closer to knowing a conclusion for any of them right now. It’s certainly not looking great.

So the club have been looking at potential new centre backs to come in and it appears that the shortlist is ever growing.

The latest to join the list is Real Madrid centre back, Eder Militao, according to Spanish outlet AS.

They claim that Roman Abramovich wanted to sign the Brazilian international before he went to Madrid, and that now Thomas Tuchel is requesting his signing.
