Thomas Tuchel was talking about Chelsea’s hectic January in his press conference today, and in doing so he revealed that all the coaches involved in the Carabao Cup semi finals had wanted those matches to take place as one-legged ties.
It seems like Tuchel had spoken to Jurgen Klopp, Antonio Conte and Mikel Arteta, or at least knew how they felt about the situation in the league cup. Chelsea have played their two legs, while Arsenal and Liverpool still have to play their second.
