Thomas Tuchel was asked in his post match press conference about the postponement requested by Arsenal which was today granted, and the coach simply refused to reply.
“It is much better for me not to answer the question,” he responded coolly, in a manner that strongly evoked a spirit of Jose Mourinho’s much-quoted, tie-askew: “I prefer not to speak.”
Chelsea timed their Covid wave badly, getting hit for games before it became legit to count injuries and other factors in getting games called off.
Tuchel asked about the Arsenal game being postponed: "It's much better for me not to answer the question. Much, much better."
