Romelu Lukaku had an invisible game up top for Chelsea against Man City, starved of service and not doing anything with it when he did get it.
“He was disappointing today” Andy Gray commented on BT Sport when the striker appeared on screen doing his full time hugs.
But even Gray was willing to immediately qualify his criticism by saying that he had “sympathy” for the striker, blaming his 9 first half touches on his teammates rather than him.
They also reckoned Kepa could have done better on the goal, and we sort of agree with that, too.

At this moment, Lukaku is still too fragile for Premiership – in terms of his ego and his use of his body.
