Today was a great example he could have been difficult and tried to deny that Chelsea were looking into signing a left back as cover for the injured Ben Chilwell, but instead, he admitted the obvious truth, which is that we’re a man down there, and looking at our options.

Asked about whether the club were trying to recall Emerson, he again refused to give a certain yes, but admitted he was a player the club liked a lot and knew well.
