PSG make €7m offer to Chelsea defender

Antonio Rudiger has been offered a €7m salary after tax by PSG – but they still aren’t his first choice.

That’s according to Get Football News France,  who claim that the defender would rather join Real Madrid – assuming they can offer a similar sum.

His Chelsea contract expires at the end of this season, meaning he can now speak to other clubs abroad about a pre-contract deal to join them then.

However the Blues still have hopes of keeping him, and that still looks a possibility – albeit a remote one.

Perhaps he won’t get a satisfactory offer from Madrid, who are already spending a lot at the back on David Alaba who arrived last summer in similar circumstances.

If that’s the case though, it looks more and more like PSG are ready to fill in the gaps and pick up the slack. Either way, it’s looking bad for Chelsea at the moment.
