Mason Mount reveals Chelsea team mates showed him game of potential Club World Cup opponents

Chelsea will soon be off to fight for another big trophy in the club’s history, The Club World Cup.

This is one they have never won before, the only one in fact, so the players, staff, and the club will be well up for bringing this one home, but it wont be easy.

It would be amazing if you guys subscribed for my project over at Si & Dan Talk Chelsea, where we are putting out so much Chelsea content including DAILY Newsletters, exclusive news, breaking news, Podcasts, interviews, inside information, and bringing in some massive guests!

One team they could possibly face as finalists is Palmeiras from Brazil, a team that not too many Chelsea players will know an awful lot about.

But Thiago Silva and Jorginho certainly do, with one of them being a Brazilian national team player and the other having been born in Brazil.

Mason Mount admits he doesn’t know too much about them but luckily, his two team mates above showed him a game recently where their potential opponents took on Flamengo in the Brazilian league.

“We watched [Palmeiras v Flamengo],” Mount told ESPN Brasil.

“When we eat in hotels, I sit next to Thiago and Jorgi at the end of the table. Thiago had his iPad showing the game, so I watched the whole time.

“I haven’t seen many games, but I know they are very intense, very aggressive and hungry to win . Any team that faces us will want to beat us and they seem to be a good team, a good team. And they won the final, they showed a lot heart.

“I don’t think we’ve ever won, so we want to win this competition. Mentally, we always want to win the competitions we play.”
