Chelsea are currently weighing up their options for new centre backs.
The main man that is always mentioned alongside Chelsea is Jules Kounde from Sevilla, a player who they tried to sign last summer but did not meet the fee demands of the club. The player was all set to make the switch, and Chelsea are expected to go back in for the French international at some point soon.

However, as is always the case, Chelsea have other options they are looking at in that area, especially factoring in that there are still no conclusions for Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger, and Andreas Christensen yet, who could all leave on a free transfer at the end of this season.
Niklas Sule from Bayern Munich is ‘another option’ being looked at by Chelsea according to Fabrizio Romano, who was speaking on YouTube yesterday, as reported below by a Football Transfer Twitter account.
