Tiemoue Bakayoko is at AC Milan this season, returning to the club where he had perhaps his best spell of several loans in his time at Chelsea.
Fabrizio Romano reported this summer that the temporary deal has a permanent purchase clause of €15m included. That’s a huge drop from the money Chelsea paid for him, but after years of mediocrity, it’s the best we could hope for.
As it stands however, Chelsea won’t be getting anything.

Bakayoko will also extend his contract with Chelsea until June 2024.

According to SempreMilan, the midfielder hasn’t done enough yet even to be worth that sum. He’s not played a huge amount, and hasn’t impressed enough when he has.
That could all change this weekend however, when Milan face Juventus. It’s the perfect opportunity for the midfielder to show what he can do in a big game, playing against the Old Lady in a game that could prove crucial in the title race this season.
