January will soon be drawing to a close and that means so will the winter transfer window.
It has been quite dramatic for many other clubs, but certainly not for Chelsea, and to be honest we don’t expect much more to happen now.
But there is a chance for a couple more loan outgoings at the club, especially amongst the younger group of players.
Tino Anjorin is one of those, having returned from his loan out in Russia back in November due to getting injured. It looks like he might get a late loan move out the door.
Southampton are interested, as confirmed by The Guardian’s Chelsea reporter Jacob Steinburg, who was speaking on The Si & Dan Talk Chelsea Podcast this week, plus revealing many other bits of transfer news and inside Chelsea info.
He believes Southampton will try and sign Anjorin permanently in the summer, but for his immediate future he is likely to go out on a Championship loan move.
It will be interesting to see where he goes.
