Gianluca Di Marzio has been rather squeezed out of the space he basically invented, with other Italian transfer gurus pushing him hard on every front.
He does still manage the occasional exclusive though, and this time he’s the first on the scene to report on Juventus interest in Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
We’ve seen the midfielder linked with Lazio a few times since Maurizio Sarri took over there, but a strong of appearances for Chelsea has clearly got some even bigger teams interested.
We would love to see this really. It’s great having Ruben as a squad option at Chelsea, but he’s going to have to head out into the world if he wants to start every game, and the Italian game has already shown itself to suit his friends Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori.
This season he is too valuable for us, but come this summer both he and Thomas Tuchel will be far more aware of their options.
