Chelsea are the latest Premier League team to take an interest in signing the next rising star out of the French league, according to reports.
In fact, according to Footmercato, Chelsea have actually made contact to sign the French U20 international this summer.

Hugo Ekitike is a 19-year old striker currently playing for Reims in Ligue 1 and he is attracting a lot of interest, with Chelsea now joining Newcastle in a growing list of teams looking at the player.
Across Europe’s top 5 leagues, the youngster is the top goal-scorer in the U20s bracket, and this has lead him to become a very much talked about talent in France and Europe.
It’s unclear just how serious Chelsea’s interest in the youngster is, but we will have to see if anything else transpires over the coming months.
