The January transfer window has been open now for 9 days and some clubs are working on business.
West Ham are one club showing some interest in a few players for this window, and Chelsea are looking to rival them for one player in particular.

In fact, according to West Ham insider ExWHUemployee, as reported by The West Ham Zone, Chelsea ‘have offered competition’ and are better placed to sign Everton left back Lucas Digne over West Ham, despite admitting The Hammers DO have an interest in signing the French international this window.
Personally I am not so sure that even Chelsea will be looking to pay the higher fee that Everton will be demanding for Digne on top of his higher wage bracket he is currently on as well.
We’ll have to see how this one pans out there is time left in the window and Chelsea are looking at other options as well.
