Real Madrid are interested in signing Aurelien Tchouameni from Monaco. That means plenty of stories in Marca about the midfielder, which means plenty of information for Chelsea fans.
Their latest update is pessimistic from a Real Madrid point of view, but very positive from a Chelsea point of view. The Spanish paper points to the potential “Galactico” of €80m for the Monaco man, and says that Chelsea and Manchester United are the “best placed teams” to sign the midfielder, given they have the cash, and have already had contact with his agent Jonathan Kebe – the same man who deals with Jules Kounde’s affairs.
It all seems to be lining up nicely for a Chelsea bid – although many people will question why we didn’t make a decisive move last summer, when we clearly could have upgraded in midfield.
