After the draw with Brighton last night Thomas Tuchel raged that Chelsea should have had a penalty for a foul on Christian Pulisic, and he had a point.
But there was a much more obvious penalty that nobody (including VAR) seems to have noticed until today.
Callum Hudson-Odoi’s cross to Mason Mount was cut out by an arm – a pretty obvious arm at that. We didn’t see it on the TV coverage, but quite why the stadium and the players weren’t going mad for it is beyond us.
