Thomas Tuchel has just spoken to the media after Chelsea’s loss to West Ham, and despite the result he insisted that his team had played well enough to win today – as they had done against Man U last week.
The Chelsea manager instead insisted it was individual mistakes that cost his team – like Jorginho’s backpass to the indecisive Edu Mendy, who then gave a penalty away to let West Ham back into the game.
It was a brutal result, and while we did play OK at times, it seems silly to say we played well enough to win if our performance was riddled with errors.
