Yesterday was a freakish game full of freakish moments, and it was a tough one to analyse in the end.
Thomas Tuchel spoke to BT Sport after the game and tried to diagnose what had gone wrong, but in the end there’s not much he can say.
There were too many individual mistakes, as he said, but also just some bad luck on his team’s part. The fact they didn’t get a point in the end was thanks to Arthur Masuaku’s cross hitting a Chelsea player’s toe and flying into the top corner – and there’s not much you can do about that.
