We had written ahead of this game about West Ham’s set piece threat – but they clearly didn’t think enough about Chelsea’s own set piece prowess.
Thiago Silva has just found himself in space in the box from a corner, and while he didn’t have space to get power on his header, he was able to guide it perfectly beyond the goalkeeper’s reach.
The whole play was beautifully designed, and the technique was perfect to finish it off. What a player.
