Ralf Rangnick has just taken over at Manchester United, and as part of his unveiling press conference he’s spoken about turning down the offer of an interim role at Chelsea last year.
He pointed out that this was for 6 and a half months with a consultant role tacked on the end, whereas the offer at Chelsea was for 4 months. Fair enough, really.
He seems like a very smart guy and potentially a great manager, but ultimately we’re delighted he turned down the job so we ended up with Thomas Tuchel.
