Mason Mount had actually been dropped for Chelsea’s recent games, not starting against either Juventus or Manchester United last week.
He was back in the side today – and he really made it count. He got a goal and an assist as Chelsea scrapped their way to an undeserved but vital three points.
Speaking to Amazon after the game, he said he was “buzzing” after his performance helped his team get a win. He also explained just what had happened both with his goal and his assist. Surely he’s set to start again this weekend.
