“German machine, well-oiled” – Zenit boss full of praise for Chelsea

Chelsea and Zenit are getting ready to face off against each other again in the Champions League this season.

The two sides meet again in Zenit as the group stages of the competition draws to a close. Zenit don’t have much to play for now, but Chelsea still have to try and win the group in order to get one of the more favourable draws in the knockout rounds coming up next.

Chelsea have been stuttering a little in the last three matches, and Zenit will likely feel this might be a good time to play them to try and take advantage of this.

However, their manager Sergei Semak has described Chelsea as a ‘German machine’ and being very ‘well-oiled.’

Semak did not want to get drawn to individual Chelsea players, he believes it is their system that makes them so good and how they all operate collectively, as reported below by Chelsea news account, Absolute Chelsea.
