“Dream come true” – Chelsea loanee just appreciating Premier League minutes

Chelsea have a number of their talented young players out on loan this season as always, some of which are lucky enough to be gaining Premier League experience.

There is Conor Gallagher of course who is playing superbly for Crystal Palace and really making a name for himself.

Then there is striker Armando Broja, who is currently the top scorer for Southampton so far this season on his loan spell there.

He scored again for The Saints on Saturday in their draw against Brighton, taking his tally to 5 for the season, and he hasn’t even been a guaranteed starter.

But the 20-year old is improving all the time and he will certainly be looking to get more minutes as his performances improve even more.

For Broja though, he is just happy for the experience and being able to play Premier League football at such a young age, as reported by The Daily Echo.

“It’s obviously my first season in the Premier League,” Broja said.

“It’s been crazy.

“I’m a young player and it’s amazing for everyone to be able to have this opportunity to be in the Premier League and gain experience and become a better player and work with better players.

“It’s a dream come true. I’m just trying to improve every day and just learn.

“Of course there’s always competition. It’s the Premier League, it’s the most difficult league, there’s always going to be competition in the team.

“It’s good. I’ll just keep my head down and try and help out the team as much as possible and I was thankful that I got a goal (on Saturday), but the main thing is the team. It was just a shame that we couldn’t take the three points.”
