Ruben Loftus-Cheek has worked his way into Thomas Tuchel’s plans over the course of this season, and so has been brought up in several of the recent press conferences – including the one today.
Tuchel is always reluctant to praise him too much – instead demanding more from the midfielder. Today he was set up to lavish praise on RLC for his showing as a sub against Juventus on Tuesday night, but instead once again he focused on the need for Ruben to perform like that every minute that he’s on the pitch.
