Chelsea were dominant against Leicester today, and it should have been a happy day all round.
After the game though the inevitable question of Antonio Rudiger’s expiring contract came up, and Thomas Tuchel was forced to ask everyone for “patience” regarding the defender’s future.
Rudiger was brilliant again today, scoring the opening goal and helping our back 3 utterly shut down the Foxes attack. We will be as patient as we can – but we all know how big a blow losing him would be when he plays like this.
You can see the coach speaking to BT Sport in the clip embedded here:
"I'm happy with the effort, the quality. It was a deserved win."
"We have to have a bit of patience, and hopefully a happy end."
