Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Andreas Christensen came through the Chelsea academy together, with the Danish defender arriving when both were about 15 years old.
In his interview with Football Daily release today, Ruben remembers what it was like meeting his mate for the first time, after he was tasked with showing the new guy around Cobham.
“He was so quiet, he didn’t want to speak!” the midfielder joke. As he points out, Christensen did all his talking on the pitch, where he “bossed it” from the moment he arrived at the club.
